So, Amber and I decided it's about time to commence renovations on our home. We decided to start with our family room. Following is a list of projects we are undertaking to help this room achieve its full potential.
1) No more popcorn ceiling. The only popcorn allowed in this room will be the buttered kind...or caramel.
2) Paint all the things!!! Aside from the floor and light fixtures, we are literally painting everything in this room. We've even decided to use a metallic spray paint to modernize our currently ugly switch and plug covers.
3) Redo the fireplace. We are basically just going to clean out the fireplace and turn it into a "candleplace". Seriously, who needs a fireplace in southern California?
4) Thorough cleansing of all grout on the tile floors.
The most exciting part about all of this is that we plan to invite as many friends and family as are able to come to our house and write their favorite Bible verses all over our walls before we paint them. We figure, what better way to dedicate a house to the Lord than by covering it in His Word?
